Stakeholders and the Creation of Communication Value in Digital Contexts
Lucas Andrade Silva
Strategic communication has increasingly been recognized as an important organizational function that contributes to value creation through stakeholder relationships and communication processes. However, existing research often focuses on organizational outcomes while giving limited attention to how stakeholders perceive and interpret communication in digital environments. This study aims to examine how stakeholder perception and interpretation contribute to the formation of communication value within digital communication contexts. This research adopts a qualitative research design using secondary data analysis. The study relies on scholarly literature related to strategic communication, stakeholder perception, and digital communication environments. Relevant academic publications were systematically reviewed and analyzed to identify patterns explaining how stakeholders interpret organizational communication. Stakeholder Theory was used as the analytical framework to guide the interpretation of how stakeholder perceptions shape communication value formation. The analysis shows that communication value emerges through stakeholder perception, interpretation, and interaction within digital communication environments rather than solely from organizational communication outputs. The study concludes that stakeholder interpretation functions as a key mechanism linking organizational communication activities with the realization of communication value. The findings contribute to the field of strategic communication by providing a clearer conceptual explanation of how stakeholder interpretation influences communication value formation in digitally mediated environments.

Intercultural Communication in Multicultural Healthcare Workplaces
Rizky Pratama Suwitno
Communication plays a crucial role in healthcare organizations where collaboration among professionals directly affects the quality and safety of patient care. In multicultural healthcare workplaces, cultural diversity introduces differences in language, communication styles, and cultural norms that may influence how healthcare professionals interact and coordinate their work. This study aims to examine communication dynamics in multicultural healthcare teams from an organizational communication perspective. The research adopts a qualitative literature-based approach using secondary data derived from peer-reviewed academic studies discussing communication and cultural diversity in healthcare workplaces. Data were collected through a systematic review of scholarly literature from academic databases and analyzed using thematic analysis guided by intercultural communication theory. The analytical framework focused on identifying patterns related to communication dynamics, communication barriers, and organizational communication practices within multicultural healthcare teams. The findings indicate that communication in multicultural healthcare environments is shaped by linguistic differences, cultural communication styles, and non-verbal interpretation, while organizational practices such as cultural competence development, communication verification mechanisms, and collaborative interaction norms facilitate effective teamwork. These results suggest that communication challenges in multicultural healthcare teams emerge from the interaction between cultural diversity and organizational communication structures. The study contributes to the field by integrating intercultural communication theory with organizational communication perspectives to better understand communication processes in culturally diverse professional environments.

How Social Media Communication Mobilizes Supporters for Social Causes
Ahmad Raza Khan
The rapid expansion of social media has transformed how organizations communicate with stakeholders and mobilize public participation in social causes. Digital platforms allow organizations not only to disseminate information but also to cultivate engagement and encourage collective action among supporters. This study aims to examine how organizational communication on social media contributes to supporter mobilization in the context of digital activism. The research adopts a qualitative conceptual approach using secondary data derived from existing academic literature on social media communication, organizational communication, and digital activism. Relevant scholarly publications were systematically reviewed to identify patterns in communication functions used by organizations in digital environments. The analysis is guided by Resource Mobilization Theory, which provides a framework for interpreting how communication practices facilitate the accumulation and activation of supporter resources. Through conceptual analysis, the study examines three key communication dimensions: informational communication, community engagement, and action-oriented mobilization. The findings indicate that these communication functions operate sequentially to transform audiences from passive information receivers into active participants in collective action. The study concludes that social media communication functions as a strategic resource that enables organizations to mobilize attention, build supporter networks, and coordinate participation in digital activism. These findings contribute to the literature by extending Resource Mobilization Theory and providing a conceptual framework that integrates organizational communication and digital activism studies.

Digital Communication and Organizational Coordination in Modern Work Environments
Chinedu A. Okafor
The increasing adoption of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has transformed how organizations coordinate work and manage human resources in complex environments. Digital communication systems have become essential infrastructures that enable organizations to exchange information, coordinate tasks, and support operational efficiency. This study aims to examine how ICT-mediated communication influences human resource coordination and organizational productivity in digitally mediated work environments. The research adopts a qualitative conceptual design based on secondary data analysis of existing scholarly literature related to ICT in management, organizational communication, and coordination processes. Relevant peer-reviewed studies were systematically reviewed and synthesized using Organizational Information Processing Theory as the analytical framework. The analysis focuses on key dimensions including communication quality, managerial coordination, and human resource coordination. Through thematic synthesis of the literature, the study develops a conceptual explanation of how digital communication infrastructures support organizational coordination mechanisms. The results indicate that ICT communication systems improve information flow and strengthen coordination among employees, thereby contributing to more efficient work processes and improved organizational productivity. The study concludes that ICT communication infrastructures function as critical mechanisms that enhance organizational information-processing capacity and facilitate effective coordination in digitally mediated work environments. These findings contribute to the field by providing a theoretically grounded explanation of how ICT-enabled communication systems link coordination processes with organizational productivity.

Digital Affordances and Organizational Knowledge Sharing
Youssef El Mansouri
Digital communication technologies are increasingly adopted in corporate environments to support collaboration and knowledge sharing among employees. The rise of enterprise social media platforms has changed how organizational members access, produce, and circulate knowledge within workplace communication systems. This study aims to examine how digital affordances influence knowledge sharing and transform workplace interaction in corporate environments. The research applies a qualitative design based on conceptual and literature based analysis. Secondary data were collected from peer reviewed academic literature discussing digital communication technologies, organizational social media, and knowledge sharing practices. The analysis was guided by Affordance Theory and focused on four analytical dimensions: visibility, persistence, editability, and association. These dimensions were used to interpret how digital communication platforms shape knowledge accessibility, collaboration, and organizational communication structures. The findings indicate that digital affordances expand knowledge visibility, support organizational memory, enable collaborative knowledge refinement, and facilitate networked communication among employees. The study concludes that the interaction of multiple digital affordances transforms workplace interaction into a more transparent, collaborative, and knowledge centered communication environment. This research contributes to the field of organizational communication by clarifying how digital affordances structure knowledge sharing processes and reshape interaction patterns in contemporary corporate workplaces.
